Well, this month caught my procrastination in full force. Christmas came and went and then I got that pesky little cheesecake book that I am still trying to digest :) Projects just kept piling up on me and so the deadline for my Lemon Meringue Pie came and went and left me in my chair without a photo to submit.
So, with all of my excuses out there I do want to highlight some of the now over 400 members of the Daring Bakers.
Must Sees':
Culinary Concoctions by Peabody
Honorable Mention:
Of course this list is not meant to be complete. There are always some late posters and some who I just haven't had the opportunity to meet yet. So don't forget about the whole group: Daring Bakers Blogroll. It would be impossible for me to keep up with all of them but you should still try :)
Until next time.

Hopefully you'll find some time in February for the next challenge, I can't wait to see what it is!
Yea! It was the first one I took part in and it was really fun! Although I must say, honestly the MOST fun part has been seeing everyone else's...all so different but lovely!
Time does get away from us! Hopefully, I will get to see your creation for next months challenge!
Thanks for including my (disaster-prone) creation on your list! Can't wait for next months -- something savory, I hope!!!
I am giving you an award Lewis... check out my blog and you will see it..
The Daring Bakers... yep..want to join some day soon myself. Maybe I should wait til I finish the 4 projects I have on the go at the moment.. bears to make, a doll in the works.. and some gifts to make... for the Pay It Forward.
I must admit that I have now gone to random picking people's blogs to read. I used to read everyone's but once we hit 300 and it took me a week, I gave up on that idea.
Hopefully the February one will work out.
brilynn - thanks, sometimes the time just slips away but the truth is I thought about it every day. You know, where you're saying 'Tomorrow is the day' and then post day came and went... :)
cakespy - I'm about a three challenge veteran with the DB's and they've really put me up against the wall. It's been both exciting and scary - but in a good way :) P.S. - I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR CUPCAKE DRAWINGS!!! You should really make one talking with a loaf of bread then hook your favorite (now sometimes rarely) bread blogger up with it :)
april - Yes it does, and yes you will :) thanks for stopping in
katy - the fact that you are a lawyer in NY and you still manage to bake deserves an Honorable Mention every day ;)
bumblevee - thanks for the award! (blush) My first ;) And you must join the DB's!!! Such a support group! And one of these days I'm going to place an order for some of those amazing polymer clay dolls you make - they are SO life like! Very talented.
Peabody - yes it is a bit overwhelming. My poor Google Reader starts to smoke a bit from all the feeds on post day. I wake up to about 100 unread posts and that continues to go up while I'm reading! It's great though to see something take off like this and to be a part of it.
Waiting to see the next month challenge!
I always drop by here and admiring all the bakers' stories. I even some times imagine myself can bake 1 or 2 kinds of cake or bread. But just dunno where to start from... :)
chin - come join us a daring bakers! I promise it's not that hard and there is so much support there! You should really consider it ;)
Oh I was looking forward to seeing your pie! Oh well, next months' challenge (whatever it ends up being) will see you back in, right? :-)
Quellia - absolutely! Just had a month that went by way too fast :)
Hope to see you in February's challenge!
xoxo
Ah Lewis, you're a sweetie. We missed you this round. xxoo
Gabi - I will definitely be there!
Jen Yu - thanks ;)
Aww, thanks so much for mentioning my tarts! I almost didn't have time to make them, so no worries! I look forward to when you have time for the DB challenge!
Anita - yeah, you just get behind you know? I'm a four month veteran DB and that makes me a dinosaur now a days :)
Wow, thank you for listing me! I'm so honored! And huge, huge kudos for visiting all the blogs for this month! I've had a hard time visiting everyone the past couple of challenges!
Get baking on this month's challenge! I know you'll come up with something fabulous!
Julie - I promise I won't miss this months. If you've seen what it is I think I might lose a little 'street cred' if I did ;)
Hope you get to do the Feb challenge. I'm almost through everyone...only T, U, and W left!
